Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: April 22, 2026
In plain English
The Gadget List is reader-supported. When you click a product link on this site and buy something at the destination retailer, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That commission is how the site pays for itself.
How our affiliate relationships work
We work with a small number of reputable affiliate networks and direct programs:
- Awin — our primary affiliate network, covering most of the retailers we link to.
- Yieldkit — a link-optimisation service that routes outbound product links to the best-available affiliate program for each retailer.
- Direct-to-consumer brands — we occasionally partner directly with DTC brands we already cover editorially.
We do not use the Amazon Associates program. If we link to Amazon, it is a plain, non-earning link included for reader convenience.
Editorial independence
Commission never decides what we cover, how we rank it, or what we say about it. Specifically:
- We pick the products we write about on editorial merit. We do not accept payment for inclusion in a review or a list.
- We do not let advertisers or affiliate partners see drafts, approve copy, or request changes.
- When we recommend a product, we recommend it because we genuinely think it’s worth your money — not because it happens to pay a higher commission.
- If we can’t recommend something honestly, we leave it out.
Prices and availability
Prices shown on The Gadget List are indicative and sourced from retailer feeds at the time of publication. They change. Always verify the current price on the retailer’s site before purchasing.
Questions
If you have a question about a specific recommendation or want to understand why we chose one product over another, write to us at tanya@theiris.io — we’re happy to explain our reasoning.
